Biography

Joshua E. Roller, MD, is proud to play a part in improving the lives of his patients through weight loss surgery. Dr. Roller moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas in August 2007 after completing a Minimally Invasive Surgical Fellowship in Bariatric and Advanced Laparoscopic General Surgery at Duke University Medical Center. He completed his general surgery residency at UT Southwestern / Parkland Hospital. Dr. Roller is the most experienced Bariatric Surgeon in his region and has performed more than 9,000 bariatric procedures (weight loss surgeries), including the laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, laparoscopic modified and traditional Duodenal Switch, lap gastric banding, and the laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy. He was the 1st Bariatric surgeon in the region to perform the Laparoscopic Duodenal Switch procedure and is now one of the most experienced DS surgeons in the country. Dr. Roller has grown his practice with his wife, Dr. Kristin Roller, from 5 employees to over 80 Employees with offices in 3 cities and 2 states.
