Weather
San Diego weather in early June is very unpredictable. Amidst the blue-sky weather, June often sees the cloudy skies referred to by Californians as "June Gloom”. Average temperatures in June are high 73°F and low 61°F. Please know that the convention center will have the air conditioning on so dress in layers.

San Diego Convention Center is one of the first convention centers to receive GBAC STAR™ Facility Accreditation, and will be the home of the ASMBS 2024 Annual Meeting. The San Diego Convention Center is located along the waterfront in downtown San Diego, steps from the bustling Gaslamp District.

The safety and wellbeing of the ASMBS community is our number one priority, and especially when planning our largest in-person event of the year, the ASMBS 2024 Annual Meeting. That is why part of the we are prepared and have an iron clad approach to health and safety protocols. Like other ASMBS Annual Meetings, the ASMBS team is working closely with our partners at Visit San Diego and the San Diego Convention Center to ensure a safe and positive meeting experience for all attendees.
