Biography

Majumdar is the bariatric coordinator at Emory University Hospital Midtown and has focused on the care of bariatric surgery patients much of her career. Majumdar served as National Media Spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics for six years and is past chair of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery’s integrative health program planning committee. She us chair of the Weight Management Dietetic Practice Group Majumdar is co-editor of the third edition of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Pocket Guide to Bariatric Surgery and is a certified specialist in obesity and weight management.
