Professional Networking Groups- Support Group, MBSAQIP MBS/Coordinators/ Clinical Reviewers, and CBN

Description

This combined networking session will allow for connection across multiple roles: MBS Coordinators, MBS Clinical Reviewers, Certified (and Future Certified) Bariatric Nurses and Support Group. Participants will have the opportunity to select from a variety of current issues for roundtable discussion with a facilitator. The session will also provide unstructured time for attendees to meet and connect with other MBS professionals in similar roles.

Learning Objectives

  1. Debate current issues impacting support group facilitators, MBS coordinators and clinical reviewers, and/or certified bariatric nurses.
  2. Compare application of ASMBS and IFSO best practices at different institutions across the US.

  3. Identify resources within this network of MBS professionals in similar roles to your own.
