The laparoscopic adjustable gastric band (LAGB) course will focus on optimizing LAGB management and identifying potential complications associated with LAGB placement. Individuals with LAGBs often face unique challenges with behavioral health, nutrition, band fills, and potential anatomical or device-related complications. This course will discuss LAGB maintenance with the goal of preventing LAGB complications. Symptoms, diagnostics, and treatment options associated with LAGB complications will be reviewed by our surgeon experts.
