Biography

Emily has been a Registered Dietitian for over 10 years, ultimately finding her niche in bariatric surgery 9 years ago. She started as a bariatric dietitian at a low acuity center in Massachusetts. In 2018, she helped develop a new bariatric program in New Hampshire initially as a dietitian, and in 2020, transitioned to her current role as Bariatric Coordinator. In 2020, she earned the Board Certified Specialist in Obesity & Weight Management. In addition to her duties as a coordinator, she is the lead dietitian overseeing a team of 3 dietitians. The best part of her job is moderating support groups, holding 2 per month, and additional events that fosters a sense of community among her patients. She has served on the ASMBS IH Support Group Committee for almost 2 years and recently became a mentor as part of the ASMBS Mentorship Program.
