Biography

Rana Reynolds is the MBSCR for a 99 bed hospital in rural Missouri. Her passion for bariatrics began in 2016, very early on in her own non-surgical weight loss journey, and she credits the specialty and working closely with dietitians and patients pursuing the same goal to her success with weight loss and healthy weight maintenance. Rana believes overcoming her own struggles with weight coupled with her passion for providing exceptional experiences helps her connect with patients on an impactful level. Rana has an Associate’s Degree in Health Information Technology, a Bachelor’s Degree in Health & Human Services, and will be pursuing her master’s degree beginning in the fall of 2024 (after her pool closes – she needs a summer break). Rana is the MBSCR for Hannibal Regional Weight Management Solutions in Hannibal, MO. Not only does she fill the role of data abstraction and reporting, she is instrumental in the accreditation process, leading much of the program’s initial site survey in 2022 and ensuring compliance is maintained and documentation is always ready for recertification in 2025. Fun fact: Though Monday-Friday you’ll find her in blazers and heels, Rana is an avid outdoorswoman and hunter of whitetail and turkey, both firearm and archery.
