Biography

Joshua Pfeiffer is a fellowship trained bariatric and MIS general surgeon who practices in La Crosse, Wisconsin at Gundersen Health System. He is the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Director, the assistant fellowship director for the dually accredited bariatric and advanced GI MIS bariatric fellowship, and the assistant program director for the general surgery residency at Gundersen. He completed his fellowship training in 2014 at Gundersen Health System and residency training in Chicago at the UIC Metro Group Hospitals residency program in 2013. Clinical interests include metabolic and bariatric surgery, foregut surgery, hernia surgery, robotic surgery, access to care, surgical education, and practice management.
