Biography

Jen Pells is Assistant Professor at Duke University Medical Center and serves as licensed psychologist for the Duke Center for Metabolic and Weight Loss Surgery. Areas of particular interest include Binge-Eating Disorder and other forms of disordered eating, third wave behavioral therapies for treatment of obesity, and presurgical behavioral health treatment planning. Jen previously served as Clinical Director for a residential obesity treatment center and completed her pre- and post- doctoral fellowships in Health Psychology at Duke.
