Biography

Afton Koball, PhD, ABPP is a clinical health psychologist and Senior Associate Consultant at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Clinically, she works with individuals pre-and post-bariatric surgery and those pursuing behavioral or medical weight management options. Dr. Koball’s research interests are broadly focused in the area of obesity and bariatric surgery with particular interest in predictors of weight recurrence, weight bias, and social media among MBS patients.
