Your chosen sessions must be attended in their entirety. If you are seeking continuing education credit for a specialty not listed below, it is your responsibility to contact your licensing/certification board to determine course eligibility for your licensing/certification requirement.
ABS Transfer Information: You can choose to opt in for ABS Transfer while claiming CME credits during the evaluation process. By opting in, you authorize ASMBS to share your information with the American Board of Surgery (ABS) and The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). Please note that credits must be claimed in order to transfer them to ABS. This process typically takes up to 10 business days.

Accreditation Statement The American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

SOCIAL WORKERS
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Amedco is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Amedco maintains responsibility for this course. Social Workers completing this course receive 28.50 live/ 95.25 enduring GENERAL continuing education credits.
